Tracking statistics are an important part of meeting our community education goals and satisfying our funding sources. You can complete the forms online and print to your local printer, then mail them or you can fill them out, save under a new name to your local hard drive and send the form by attaching it to an email to the KCDVTF. Jackie called the meeting to order.
September minutes were unable to be approved due to lack of attendance.
Financial report: Financial report was handed out and explained.
Committee reports:
Program/Community Outreach- Summit feedback: Some felt there was a lack of getting the word out to past attendees. In addition to email, newsletter, website and newspaper ads the board will mail out reminder postcards for next year as well. Also, some of the participants of this Summit felt there was a lack of communication. Lunches were not good. But, most of the comments were good, both verbal and survey. The quarterly will be Jan. 23rd at a location TBD. 5 pm will be the board meeting and the program will begin at 6. Title is: "When a Child is Getting Hurt, What Next?" There will be a panel of professionals to present the KC Protocol. Sue and Jody will work with Barbara Geiger from CPS to set up the panel.

Bridging the Gaps: Claire is working on putting together a meeting
Faith Committee: No Report
Respect group: Respect is working on a drama contest with the schools instead of the poster contest this year. They attended the MADD conference and made a lot of connections there. They are still working every other month at the Juvy. They are also working with Olympic High with the girls at risk program. Bremerton counselors have also shown an interest.
Minority Services: No Report
Medical: No report.
Perpetrator/TX: No report.
Kitsap Advocate Group: Contacted the C-Bees about making the silhouettes. Susan D will follow up with them. The Advocates will paint them.
Alumni: No report
Membership committee: Bylaws were updated regarding membership/attendance. There were not enough board members present for voting so they will be presented at the next meeting.
New Business: Christmas luncheon will be Dec. 19th at the Boat Shed. The Alumni will be invited to attend. Voting requests will be going out to board members regarding this.
