Tracking statistics are an important part of meeting our community education goals and satisfying our funding sources. You can complete the forms online and print to your local printer, then mail them or you can fill them out, save under a new name to your local hard drive and send the form by attaching it to an email to the KCDVTF. YWCA, 4 PM
Present: Crystal Gray, Sue King, Jody Stewart, Pam O'Neil-Allen, Joe Dudley and Joan Taie, Administrative Assistant.
The meeting was called to order at 4:15 PM by Crystal Gray.
Minutes for October 2009 were not approved at the meeting. We did not have enough board members present in order to vote. An E-mail vote request was sent to the board members and the Minutes were approved.
Financial Report
Joan presented the financial report. The Financial Report was approved via the E-mail vote.
New Business:
Summit Update-The Summit was a success, and there was feedback from the attendees for next year's event.
Fundraisers-We will have 2 fundraisers at Applebee's Restaurant in Silverdale on December 1, and December 8, 2009. They will donate 15 % of the proceeds to the KCDVTF and the ALIVE Shelter. We will also set up the Community Partners Fundraiser with Albertsons. The proceeds from shopping at Albertsons will go to the KCDVTF.
A request was made by Ramalina Steiner; Domestic Violence Perpetrator Treatment Provider in Kitsap County. She was asked by Commissioner Lowans and Judge Riehl about having community education training for Police, Fire Dept, and County workers on Domestic Violence.
Committee Reports
Program/Community Outreach: Jody Stewart spoke at the Skookum's SAAB meeting on 10/23/09. She left brochures and discussed domestic violence and sexual assault.
Faith Community Action Group: No Report
Triple Play: No Report
Perpetrator Treatment Provider; Debbie Brockman; Director YWCA ALIVE Legal & Family Services will facilitate. The meetings will be at the SAU building on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
Respect: February 19, 2010 will be the Teen Dating Violence Workshop at Olympic College. We are going to be distributing the DVD from the South Kitsap Teen Dating Violence Play to area High Schools in January 2010.
Minority: No Report
Membership: We have 2 applications for board membership.
Old Business: Discussion on possible speakers at the KCDVTF Quarterly meeting on 1/19/10 or 1/26/09 at Crossroads Church.
