Tracking statistics are an important part of meeting our community education goals and satisfying our funding sources. You can complete the forms online and print to your local printer, then mail them or you can fill them out, save under a new name to your local hard drive and send the form by attaching it to an email to the KCDVTF. Board Members Present: Oudy Acosta Perez, Jackie Aitchison, Laurie Adamson, Susan Dewees, Dave Bell, Benny Myers, Jody Stewart, Sharlyne Hays, Steve Garcia, Joyce Figueroa, Lynda Walters, Mike Lasnier.
Board Members Excused: Laura Grayum, Sandy Robbins, Sue Shultz, Rebecca Garcia & Kevin Grandy.

Jackie Aitchison opened the meeting.
May Minutes were approved.
Financial statement, info on grants was passed out by Joan and discussed. Also, a new contract for Joan's services and a pay increase of $3.50 an hour was approved. The board also approved retro pay for Joan & Oudy's services to use the remainder of the administrative grant money.
Strategic Planning:
a) Mission Statement: The board agreed that the current mission statement was good and no changes should be made.
b) Goals: The board focused on what is working and what is not. Pressing issues are housing availability, transitional housing and/or funding for resources. Get more involved in community events. Continue efforts toward ethnic/elder/youth communities. The goals were broken down discussed. Mike provided email copies of the powerpoint.
c) Objectives for 06/07: More trainings, increase RESPECT membership, new RG's to Law enforcement. Get involved with the Kitsap Fair - partner with Sheriff's office. Booths at Farmers markets. The board would like to get involved with 4 events this next year.Legislative committee is to track laws regarding DV and report to board.
d) Evaluations: Sharlyne compiled the results of the internal evaluations and handed out copies to the board members present.
