Program/Community Outreach- quarterly on mandated reporting got good reviews. There have been requests to have it again. RESPECT is going to team up with the Task Force for April quarterly and Summit. The quarterly will be on Tuesday April 24th and will include judging of the play contest RESPECT has organized. The Summit (date TBD) will then have the winning play performed as well as an anti bully play that Sue S. saw performed if possible. The Summit will have break-outs on these subjects: Children witnessing D.V., Gangs and Gang Violence, Media Violence, Internet Abusers and Mandated Reporting. Advertising for both will be broader. Joyce is going to check on the schools sign boards and a letter will be drafted by Joan from Jackie to send out to the School Districts and then board members will follow up via phone or in person. Patty Lent suggested to Joyce that we get in touch with Dr. Linquist from the Health District. Also, the program committee needs more participation from the board if possible.
