Tracking statistics are an important part of meeting our community education goals and satisfying our funding sources. You can complete the forms online and print to your local printer, then mail them or you can fill them out, save under a new name to your local hard drive and send the form by attaching it to an email to the KCDVTF. Board members present Crystal Gray, Susan Dewees, Jody Stewart, Barbara Chandler-Young, Joyce Figueroa de Raschke, Jolene Culbertson, Oudy Acosta Perez & Kevin Cure. Board members not present: Rebecca Garcia, Jackie Brown, Steve Garcia & Benny Myers.

Sue Dewees called the meeting to order.
April Bourbon from the Immigrant Assistance Center spoke regarding the services they provide at the center and their relationship with Mesa Redonda de Kitsap & El Centro de Familia. They help immigrants in our community and the people that help them by filling out forms, making calls, referring services, advocates, events etc. Their website is www.immigrantassistancecenter.org The KCDVTF will have a link to this site.

Financial report: Financial report was handed out.
Committee reports:
Program/Community Outreach- Still discussing setting a separate day for this meeting.
Bridging the Gaps: Kevin Cure is going to be the new chair for this committee and try to bring it back to life.
Faith Committee: Jody wants to help Debbie with this committee
Respect group: Barbara Saur and Jennifer McKee are coming to the next board meeting to talk about this group. There is a dating violence training scheduled for Feb. 29th at the Island Lake center. It is 10.00 and will include lunch. It is a half day training.
Substance Abuse Providers Barbara Chandler-Young is going to chair this committee and re-name it triple play. It will consist of DV, Metal Health & Substance Abuse members. She has already talked to several service providers that show an interest and New Beginnings has suggested using space in their building for the meetings. She is trying to put together a meeting in March. The change in name was voted in by the board.
Minority Services: Mesa Redonda merged with Minority Services and the meetings are now at 8:30 AM at the Silverdale Community center..
Medical: Jolene has 3 trainings schedule with ER through the clinical educator. There will be 40-50 attendees.
Perpetrator/TX: No Report
Kitsap Advocate Group: Need storage for the Silohettes and look into getting more made. Oudy suggested probation clients for community service and/or applying for grants to pay to have them made. One source would be the Jenny Jones Foundation (www.jennyjones.com)
Alumni: No report
Membership committee: Still looking for new members. Anyone can apply. Letters to Sheriff's dept. and Emergency/Firefighters were sent out.
New Business: Trying to schedule a retreat for March or first of April. Oudy is going to schedule it and email Joan. It will be on a Wed. from noon to 5. Old Business: The executive board and Joan will meet prior to the next board meeting to discuss the grants and Joan's contract for services.
