Tracking statistics are an important part of meeting our community education goals and satisfying our funding sources. You can complete the forms online and print to your local printer, then mail them or you can fill them out, save under a new name to your local hard drive and send the form by attaching it to an email to the KCDVTF. If you have provided an "In Kind" gift or the gift of your time in "volunteer hours", please help us track that by completing this form. Click here. Sue called the meeting to order.
December minutes were approved.
Financial report: Report was handed out and explained.
Committee reports:
Program/Community Outreach- Retreat is Feb. 22nd at the Island Lake community center from 8:30-12:30. Sue will be doing some training for a telemarketing group. Looking for a new webmaster so Dayle can retire. Award criteria was passed out by Sharlyne for board review. Sharlyne also passed out the By-laws for board review. We will be looking at them at the Retreat.
Bridging the Gaps: Still working on the Spring Judicial Roundtable.
Faith Committee: No report
Respect group: posters will be ready in a week. Working on better communication with the detention center.
Minority Services: No Report
Medical: Working on getting involved with health centers. The community letter didn’t work – going to try personal contact.
Membership committee: No Report.
New Business: The WSCADV fatality review report just came out and the local dv task forces are to review it. That will be handed out by Rebecca at our retreat. New meeting place will be at the Parks Dept in Bremerton on Lebo Blvd.
Old Business: The Women’s center at OC is bringing Tracy Bahm on May 6th or 9th. She will do a similar presentation to the one she did at our Summit. Also trying to bring in a group of young men from William & Mary College who do a presentation on gender equity. KCDVTF has voted to contribute $500 toward the costs.
