Tracking statistics are an important part of meeting our community education goals and satisfying our funding sources. You can complete the forms online and print to your local printer, then mail them or you can fill them out, save under a new name to your local hard drive and send the form by attaching it to an email to the KCDVTF. Board Members Excused: Claire Bradley.

Sue Shultz called the meeting to order.
I. Approval of Minutes: Minutes were approved for June.
II. Financial Report: P&L was passed out and explained.
III. Committee Reports
Program/Community Outreach - Finalizing plans for the Summit. Those that can meet at the church on the 23rd for set-up meet at 3:30. There will be 4 breakouts at the summit. Joan is sending out a press release and making signs for breakouts. Sept 21st is the program meeting and we will be stuffing the folders. Sharlyne is going to follow up with Denise on Rotary donation. Debbie will follow up with the Soroptomist. Tracy is going to follow up with Karen Shivers regarding singing during lunch. Sue Shultz is going to contact coke for a donation. Dave Skelton will handle the chests and ice. Board members are to wear purple. We are charging only $12 for vendors who are donating a percentage of profits to cover lunch and processing fee.
Speaking: Sue D & Debbie spoke at CPS. There were approx. 15 present. It went well and they are trying to set up a quarterly schedule. Sue Shultz is speaking on the 9th at the Kiona Lodge for the Women's Conference. Sue V-O & Sue Shultz will be speaking in Vancouver for the CMF.
2. Topic Specific Workgroups
a. Bridging the Gap: Meeting the 1st Thursday 9/2, noon at cps bldg. In Port Orchard. A sub group met regarding organizing another Judges Roundtable. Kelly & Debbie went to a meeting regarding support of victims being able to speak at bail/sentencing hearings. One Judge showed up but did take good notes so he could get a discussion going with other Judges. Right now it is up to each individual Judges discretion whether or not to let the victim speak at a hearing.
b. Faith Community Action Group: No report
c. RESPECT Kitsap Youth: Poster contest starting in high schools only. End of next week they will be handing out supplies. Ends the end of Oct. Winner will be showcased at the Awards event. Prizes are money and/or gift certificates. Group needs KCDVTF to buy big post it pads for presentations.
d. Perpetrator Treatment/Victim's Services: No report
e. Minority Services - no report
f. Medical - Have not had a good response on medical letters. Trying to make personal contact.
g. Membership - SVO is done in Oct. and Debbie B in Dec. Dave S is scheduling appts. With applicants after Summit. Applications will be at summit.
h. Old Business - Need to change check signers at Kitsap Bank
i. New Business - Talking about a booth at the Fair next year. Kelly has tons of things from the mall that we could use. Check into having plastic bags and pencils made for it.
Bring DV brochures to your hair dresser, etc.
