PROGRAM/COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Jolene has been doing "Date Rape" talks at Bremerton High and at North Kitsap High. She will be doing another one at Bremerton on Friday. They have been going well.

Susan D suggested that everyone start thinking about the Summit. There will be no KCSO grant this year so the board should be looking into other funding options. Perhaps the Women's Law Group or Women Democrats has grants available. Jolene will continue to chair the Summit Committee and will be looking outside the board too for filling committee seats. Think about what the target audience should be for 10/16/2009 Summit.

The Board retreat will be 2/10/09 from 8:00 - 5:00. Ronnie will bring a coffee pot; Joan will bring paper plates, cups, water and coffee. Everyone else needs to bring a breakfast & snack item along with their own beverage. Susan D will be purchasing a sandwich tray from Subway. Everyone bring cash to reimburse her. The retreat Agenda times were set. Joan will put it together as soon as the guest speakers are confirmed.
