A collaboration of the Bremerton Kitsap County Health District, March of Dimes and the KCDVTF, the El Centro de la Familia opened in summer, 2001. It is located in downtown Bremerton and serves Hispanic families, many of whom live right in the neighborhood. The emphasis is on life skills. The "center" brings health, education, information and support services to one location where they are offered in Spanish to non or limited English speaking families.
