Our community picnic was a huge success again with the help of local law enforcement who helped with the BBQ , Bremerton Fire who filled the dunk tank and local businesses; Gai's Bakery, Pat's Cookie Jar, Cosmo's Deli, Fred Meyer, Bremerton Bottling, Safeway, Albertsons, Tim's Cascade Chips, Frito Lay, Minder's Meats, The Kitsap County Prosecutors office & American Party rental who all donated money and/or products to help make this a free event.

There was Native American music & dance by Northwest Raven , face painting, animal balloons, magic and lots of "clowning around" including dunk tank dunking! Brave dunkee's included, Lt. Fisher of Bremerton Police, Aaron Elton from BPD, Officer Garland, also from BPD, Bremerton Fire Chief Al Duke, Bremerton High Assistant Principal Ken Aries, Linda Joyce from the YWCA & Councilman Nick Wofford all contributed their time and raised over $300 by being dunked! Even though the temperature was near 100 degrees over 300 people gathered together and shared in the fun!
